Scientific Name: Achillea millefolium var. occidentalis
Western yarrow is a drought tolerant perennial that prefers full sunlight. It is characterized by its flat clusters of small white flower heads that bloom spring through fall. Its feathery, fern-like leaves are distinctly pungent and are located along a fibrous, tough central stem. It can be an aggressive species and is widely used for erosion control and water-wise landscaping.
Each wildflower seed packet contains approximately 100 seeds.
