Scientific Name: Clarkia williamsonii

Fort Miller clarkia is an annual herb endemic to the forests and woodlands of the Sierra Nevada Foothills in California. It is often found in a variety of soils in grasslands and meadows. Fort Miller clarkia has slender, erect stems and lance-shaped leaves that make the flowers the focal point. Delicate cup-shaped petals with striking patterns and shades of pink and lavender. Fort Miller clarkia flowers bloom from April through September, attracting pollinators such as butterflies and bees, contributing to local ecosystems.
