Coastal gumweed, also known as Oregon gumweed, is a perennial herb native to the western United States; particularly from California to Alaska where it is a resident of marshes and beaches. It has a branching stem covered in sticky, resinous hairs, and narrow, lance-shaped grayish-green leaves; though they can also be completely hairless. Coastal gumweed has bright yellow daisy-like flowers that bloom in clusters from May through October, attracting pollinators such as butterflies and bees, and contributing to local ecosystems.
Host Plant: orange tortrix moth, white-lined sphinx, Bertha armyworm, western yellow striped armyworm, spotted straw sun moth, snakeweed borer, sunflower moth, and many butterfly caterpillars
Each wildflower seed packet contains approximately 100 seeds.
