Our Intermountain West Wildfire Resistant Mix has been designed to slow or even stop the progress of a wildfire. This mix consists of plant materials that remain green throughout the summer, and are low-growing and resistant to fire. Ideal for use throughout the areas bordered by the Sierra Nevada and Cascade mountain ranges in the West, as well as the Rocky Mountains in the East. This mix produces a stand that will contain approximately:
25% Sandberg Bluegrass
25% Western Wheatgrass
20% Streambank Wheatgrass
20% Indian Ricegrass
10% Bottlebrush Squirreltail
