Our Great Plains Wildfire Resistant Mix has been designed to slow or even stop the progress of a wildfire. This mix consists of plant materials that remain green throughout the summer, and are low-growing and resistant to fire. Ideal for use throughout the varying climate of southern North Dakota, South Dakota, eastern Wyoming, eastern Colorado, eastern New Mexico, northern Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska. This mix produces a stand that will contain approximately:
25% Western Wheatgrass
25% Canada Bluegrass
20% Buffalograss
20% Sheep Fescue
10% Blue Grama
