Southwest Transitional Beef Cattle Forage Blend

We’ve designed the Southwest Transitional beef cattle pasture blend with plant species that remain tender and palatable throughout the year, ensuring your beef cattle spend more time eating and less time roaming. Species in this blend are carefully selected to withstand the extreme heat of summer and the frigid cold of winter typical of this area. This blend will grow best areas of central Nevada, southern and central Utah and parts of the Four Corners states.

This blend produces a pasture that will contain approximately:

• 40% Intermediate Wheatgrass
• 30% Tall Fescue (endophyte free)
• 15% Perennial Ryegrass
• 10% White Clover
• 5% Alfalfa
