Southwest Desert Horse Forage Blend

Our Southwest Desert horse pasture blend is specifically designed to withstand the hot, dry climate of southeastern California, southern Nevada, Arizona and southwestern New Mexico. This blend contains grasses and legumes that are both nutrient-dense and palatable, and will tolerate the heavy grazing common of horses.



This blend produces a pasture that will contain approximately:


• 40% Bermudagrass
• 20% Weeping Lovegrass
• 15% Crested Wheatgrass
• 15% Tall Fescue (endophyte free)
• 10% White Dutch Clover
