Southern Subtropics Dairy Cow Forage Blend

Our Southern Subtropics dairy cow pasture blend is designed specifically for the hot, humid summers and mild winters of the Deep South. This blend includes palatable, nutrient-dense grasses and legumes designed to keep up with the high nutritional demands of a productive dairy cow and ensure the highest milk production rates possible. This blend will perform best in the areas of eastern Texas, Louisiana, central and southern Mississippi, central and southern Alabama, central and southern Georgia, northern and central Florida, central and eastern South Carolina and southeastern North Carolina.

This blend produces a pasture that will contain approximately:

• 50% Bermudagrass
• 20% Tall Fescue (endophyte free)
• 10% Perennial Ryegrass
• 15% Alfalfa
• 5% White Clover
