Southern Subtropics Alpaca/Llama Forage Blend

Our Southern Subtropics alpaca/llama pasture blend is designed for the hot, humid summers and mild winters of the Deep South. It contains a selection of grasses designed to provide nutrient-dense, palatable forage. This blend also contains a high percentage of soft, leafy grasses that are more compatible with the grazing styles and mouth shapes of alpacas and llamas. Treat your alpacas and llamas to the best whether you’re raising them for their fiber, packing abilities or as a hobby. Performs best in areas of eastern Texas, Louisiana, central and southern Mississippi, central and southern Alabama, central and southern Georgia, northern and central Florida, central and eastern South Carolina and southeastern North Carolina.

This blend produces a pasture that will contain approximately:

• 40% Bermudagrass
• 30% Tall Fescue (endophyte free)
• 30% Orchardgrass
