Small-flowered fiddleneck, also known as common fiddleneck and Menzies’ fiddleneck, is an annual herb. It is native to western North America, particularly California, Oregon, and Washington. The flowers are tubular and bright yellow-orange, resembling the shape of a fiddle or violin neck. Small-flowered fiddleneck typically grows up to 3 feet tall in open grasslands and fields. The coiled flowers bloom from March through June, and attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies, playing a vital role in supporting local ecosystems.
