We’ve designed this pasture mix specifically for horses in the Southwest Transitional region. Species in this mix were selected to withstand the extreme heat of summer and the frigid cold of winter typical of this area. This mix performs best in central Nevada, southern and central Utah and parts of the Four Corners states. Grasses and legumes included in this mix are palatable, nutrient-dense and tolerant of heavy grazing. This mix produces a pasture that will contain approximately:
30% Meadow Brome
20% Intermediate Wheatgrass
20% Tall Fescue (endophyte free)
20% Crested Wheatgrass
10% White Dutch Clover
