Our Southern Subtropics horse pasture mix is designed to thrive in the hot, humid summers and mild winters of the Deep South. The grasses and legumes selected for this mix are nutrient-dense, palatable and aggressive enough to withstand heavy grazing. This mix will perform best in the areas of eastern Texas, Louisiana, central and southern Mississippi, central and southern Alabama, central and southern Georgia, northern and central Florida, central and eastern South Carolina and southeastern North Carolina. This mix produces a pasture that will contain approximately:
50% Bermudagrass
20% Tall Fescue (endophyte free)
20% Perennial Ryegrass
10% White Dutch Clover
