Southern Subtropics Dairy Cow Forage Mix

Our Southern Subtropics dairy cow pasture mix is designed specifically for the hot, humid summers and mild winters of the Deep South. This mix includes palatable, nutrient-dense grasses and legumes designed to keep up with the high nutritional demands of a productive dairy cow and ensure the highest milk production rates possible. This mix will perform best in the areas of eastern Texas, Louisiana, central and southern Mississippi, central and southern Alabama, central and southern Georgia, northern and central Florida, central and eastern South Carolina and southeastern North Carolina. This mix produces a pasture that will contain approximately:

50% Bermudagrass

20% Tall Fescue (endophyte free)

10% Perennial Ryegrass

15% Alfalfa

5% White Clover
