Our Intermountain West dairy cow pasture mix is designed for the areas bordered by the Sierra Nevada and Cascade mountain ranges in the West and the Rocky Mountains further east. The species selected for this mix are able to withstand the cold winters and hot, dry summers typical of this region. This mix includes palatable, nutrient-dense grasses and legumes designed to keep up with the high nutritional demands of a productive dairy cow and ensure the highest milk production rates possible. This mix produces a pasture that will contain approximately:
50% Perennial Ryegrass
30% Meadow Brome
10% Alfalfa
10% White Clover
