If you raise dairy cows in the Great Plains, you know it’s important to have a high quality pasture that can withstand the snowy winters and hot summers. Our Great Plains dairy cow pasture mix is designed to keep up with the demands of a productive dairy cow. This mix contains a selection of nutrient-dense grasses and legumes selected for their palatability, ensuring your cows spend as much time grazing as possible. This mix will perform best in southern North Dakota, South Dakota, eastern Wyoming, eastern Colorado, eastern New Mexico, northern Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska. This mix produces a pasture that will contain approximately:
50% Tall Fescue (endophyte free)
20% Orchardgrass
10% Perennial Ryegrass
10% Alfalfa
10% White Clover
