Our Great Plains alpaca/llama pasture mix has been created for the cold, snowy winters and hot summers of the Great Plains region. It contains a selection of grasses designed to provide nutrient-dense, palatable forage. This mix also includes a high percentage of soft, leafy grasses that are more compatible with the grazing styles and mouth shapes of alpacas and llamas. Treat your alpacas and llamas to the best whether you’re raising them for their fiber, packing abilities or as a hobby. This mix produces a pasture that will contain approximately:
35% Orchardgrass
25% Meadow Brome
20% Tall Fescue (endophyte free)
20% Timothy
