Intermountain West Wildfire Resistant Blend

Our Intermountain West Wildfire Resistant Blend has been designed to slow or even stop the progress of a wildfire. This blend consists of plant materials that remain green throughout the summer, and are low-growing and resistant to fire. Ideal for use throughout the areas bordered by the Sierra Nevada and Cascade mountain ranges in the West, as well as the Rocky Mountains in the East.

This blend produces a stand that will contain approximately:

• 25% Sandberg Bluegrass


• 25% Western Wheatgrass


• 20% Streambank Wheatgrass


• 20% Indian Ricegrass


• 10% Bottlebrush Squirreltail
