Intermountain West Dairy Cow Forage Blend

Our Intermountain West dairy cow pasture blend is designed for the areas bordered by the Sierra Nevada and Cascade mountain ranges in the West and the Rocky Mountains further east. The species selected for this blend are able to withstand the cold winters and hot, dry summers typical of this region. This blend includes palatable, nutrient-dense grasses and legumes designed to keep up with the high nutritional demands of a productive dairy cow and ensure the highest milk production rates possible.

This blend produces a pasture that will contain approximately:

• 50% Perennial Ryegrass
• 30% Meadow Brome
• 10% Alfalfa
• 10% White Clover
